Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Collectorium is a Chrome browser extension developed and sold by Algirdas Latakauskas, operating under the brand Asimplek. You can contact us at kras.algim+collectorium@gmail.com.
2. What data the extension collects
Collectorium processes the following data locally on your device:
- Web page content: The visible text of the page you are currently viewing, which is sent to the AI API of your choice (OpenAI, Groq, Ollama, etc.) solely to perform the data extraction you request.
- Collected records: The structured data you save using the extension (field values, source URLs, timestamps). Stored only in Chrome's local extension storage on your device.
- Session definitions: Field names, types, and hints you configure. Stored only in Chrome's local extension storage.
- API credentials: The API key(s) you enter for your chosen AI provider. Stored only in Chrome's local extension storage and sent only to the corresponding provider's API endpoint.
- LLM call log: A local log of AI requests and responses for debugging purposes. Stored only on your device and never transmitted to us.
3. What data we do NOT collect
- We do not operate any servers or backend infrastructure for this extension.
- We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry.
- We do not receive, store, or have access to any of the data listed above.
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not use cookies or any tracking technologies.
4. Third-party AI providers
When you click "AI Autofill", the visible text content of the current page is sent to the AI API provider you have configured (e.g., OpenAI, Groq, Anthropic, Ollama). This transmission happens directly from your browser to that provider — Collectorium does not act as an intermediary.
You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policy of the AI provider you choose to use. We recommend reviewing:
- OpenAI: openai.com/privacy
- Groq: groq.com/privacy-policy
- Ollama (fully local, no data leaves your machine)
If you use Ollama with a locally hosted model, no data is sent to any external service.
5. Permissions the extension requests
Collectorium requests the following Chrome permissions:
- activeTab / scripting: To read the visible text of the page you are on when you trigger Autofill. The extension only reads the page when you explicitly click "AI Autofill" — it does not run in the background or monitor your browsing.
- storage: To save your sessions, collected records, and settings locally in Chrome's extension storage.
- sidePanel: To display the extension interface in Chrome's side panel.
6. Data retention and deletion
All data is stored locally in Chrome's extension storage. You can delete all collected data at any time from within the extension. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
7. Children's privacy
Collectorium is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at collectorium.asimplek.cloud/privacy.html. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top when changes are made.
